We love asparagus but were getting just a little tired of our usual recipes when I found this soup version - and being lactose intolerant I don't get to enjoy "creamed" soups. I made this for my husband and didn't tell him the ingredients - it was "love" at first spoonful! - Then I brought it as my addition to a friend's dinner party - it was an instant hit as the soup course to Roast Beef. When we were leaving she handed me my cleaned, empty pan and said - sorry - "I stole the rest of your soup , it was so delicious I wanted the left-overs for myself!" - I just emailed her the recipe- Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

This soup was DELICIOUS! I did not have high hopes for an asparagus soup, but I found myself wanting it again and again. Plus it was easy; the only ingredient I had to buy just for this recipe was the asparagus.

So easy and so fresh! This was a great way to use asparagus. We had a meal with this creamy soup, garlic bread and apple crisp. A nice light fall meal.

I can't believe how good this was. My girlfriend and I love it. I will definitely make this again. I used regular milk instead of soy milk and chicken broth instead of vegetable broth, but that was just because I had those things around.

We thought this soup tasted great. We had it with grilled ham and cheese sandwiches -- delicious meal! I followed the recipe exactly and it was pretty easy to make. The only slightly difficult part was making sure it was being stirred at various points while also adding ingredients. Tasty meal when asparagus is on sale :-)

I loved the sour taste of the soup. What an adventurous idea to add yogurt and lemon juice to a hot soup (well, at least to me it is!). It is very refleshing to start a meal. Thanks for the great recipe.

Very good. I think next time I'll try it with vanilla yogurt; the plain yogurt lent a slight tang to the flavor. I also can't wait to try the soup with broccoli! Thanks.

Very yummy. The kids and husband loved it too. I didn't have yogurt, so I used sour cream instead. We'll definitely make it again.

I am on a liquid diet (after jaw surgery last week) and this was just excellent! I added a bit of cream to the milk since I am not watching calories. If I had to change anything at all next time, it would be to use 2x as much asparagus -- I'm not sure how that would affect the consistancy, but I would like a bit more asparagus (rather than cream) taste. Of course this issue could have been caused by the cream I added!

This soup was wonderful! I skinned the asparagus spears for a creamier puree, substituted low fat milk for the soy milk and used low fat yoghurt. I didn't have parmesan cheese so substituted with romano and it was fantastic!

Wow! I finally found a great way to use all of the Spring time asparagus. My husband and I had this for dinner last night and it was delicious and so easy to make. I substituted fat free yogurt for regular and used light soy milk and it still tasted great. Thank you for this great recipe!
