This was quick, easy, and a delicious way to use up left over french bread.

This was good. I think that next time I will add some cinnamon to the custard mixture and bread. Mine was a bit soggy and it did deflate after I took it out of the oven, but other than that it was wonderful. Next time, however, I will use Challah bread instead of sandwich bread(I was looking for something different to have for brinner and I used what I hand handy). I will add this to my rotation!!

I added a peeled chopped apple to the bread and some chopped pecans to the cinnamon sugar topping. They were both good additions. The casserole makes a tasty breakfast dish.

A fantastically easy and tasty recipe. One in which you can sub english muffins or other styles of bread in and can also mix up and refrigerate the night before.

This recipe is unique and amazing. I made it for myself and 4 children and they had seconds and thirds of it. Follow the recipe as it says and even top your helping with fruit, chocolate chips, or cool whip!

Family loved it! I used a whole, 16 oz, loaf of cinnamon swirl bread, so I increased the amounts of the milk to 2 cups and the eggs to 5, it came out great.

Very good..first time ever making anything like this and it was great the next day too. I added blueberries(not too many) and that really made it good. As for changing the recipe, i like when people put their changes but can also agree with some and say it can get a little confusing. A few are OK but if it becomes a laundry list just make your own recipe.

I think this recipe is very good. Instead of butter I used cream cheese and topped it with berry syrup. It was great like that also instead of the maple syrup and butter.

My family loved this recipe! So easy to prepare the night before. I used sweet bread that I bought from a bakery. I plan on making this all the time from now on!

Made it exactly according to the recipe. I took it out a little too soon though. I suggest leaving it sit and cool for awhile before eating.

This was my 1st baked french toast attempt. My family enjoyed it with maple syrup drizzed on top, but I myself wasn't sure about the squishy texture in the center of the casserole. It kinda reminded me of bread pudding. It was a great way to use up some dry bread though so I might use it again for my family. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

My whole family loved this dish. My three kids gobbled this up in no time flat. I liked that I could throw it together and let it bake instead of having to flip individual french toast slices. I will definitely be making this again because it is so easy. We made no changes to the original recipe but I could imagine it would be good if I added chopped walnuts or dried fruit. And definitely serve it up with maple syrup!

I made this a while back for my boyfriend and I for breakfast. It was really good. I'm going to make it again today at work, for my co-workers since we have all the ingredients. But, why does it fall after it cools? It's so nice when it's big and puffy after taking it out of the oven .. but it does fall.
