French Silk Frosting

Original Recipe Yield 1 frosting for 2 - 9 inch layer
 

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, blend confectioners sugar, butter, melted chocolate and vanilla on low speed. Increase speed to high. Gradually add milk; beat until smooth and fluffy.
