Maybe ny yeast was old, but the dough didn't rise. The cake was very hard and dry. It looked really pretty, but no one ate it.

When I made this,it looked so good I wanted to eat before it went into the oven! It tasted so good.The filling and struesel make a wonderful dessert.Thank you for this cake!
