We loved this recipe! I was extremely easy, I will definitely be making this frequently. I did spray the oven with a few sprays of water before puting the bread in, it gave the crust a nice crunch. I would love to try this for meatball subs, garlic bread, or cheese bread. YUM!

I loved this recipe! As a homeschooling parent, I look for easy recipes for my kids to make mostly on their own and this totally fit the bill. My six year old had a great time and it turned out perfect! We did put a pan of water at the bottom of the oven for added crispiness. We will definitely be using this recipe again!

Wow, what a fantastic bread!! I have not attempted French Bread before, but tried this recipe and it turned out fantastic as is. We immediately cut into it and tried it... Can't wait to make spaghetti tonight to go with it!!! Thank you!

This is such a fantastic recipe! Both loaves were so beautiful and fluffy - and I barely did anything! After halving the dough and rolling both flat, I decided to put about 1-2 tablespoons of softened garlic butter (the recipe from this site) on one loaf, then roll it up with the butter inside it. I also left the sesame seeds off, due to an allergy in the family. They were so perfect, such an easy and versatile recipe for such fancy and yummy bread!

First time making french bread, and I ROCKED it with this recipe! My husband almost didn't believe it was homemade :) Added some olive oil to the dough, but otherwise followed everything the same. Thanks for sharing this one!
