Yummy! My husbands grandmother always made a similar recipe for holidays, but where we live we are not able to get Cool Whip, so I was searching for an alternative. I altered this recipe a little, leaving out the peaches and bananas, and using white marshmallows. It was delicious!!!

Made this for my daughter's baby shower (she is having a girl so the pink color was perfect!). It is fabulous! Delicious and so pretty served in a trifle bowl. Left the bananas out and didn't miss them at all. Will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe!! It was a hit at the Luau Birthday Party I had for my boyfriend!! I substituted the peaches for canned mandarines and left out the bananas for fear they would get dark and mushy and yucky. It was very delicious!!

I also make something similar to this. I add a box of dry jello any flavor and a 14-16oz. container of cottage cheese. My husband's favorite. He calls it cottage cheese desert.

I added powdered sugar to add some sweetness. Guests enjoyed this as part of brunch.

This fruit salad was pretty good (when it was fresh). I used unsweetened canned fruits, and added 1 tablespoon of splenda to the whipped cream once it had soft peaks. I made it the night before my Christmas party and the banana pieces were brown and unappetizing the next day. Once this dish is 2 days old, its pretty much garbage as everything is mushy. So, warning! Only make this up to 3 hours before your event.
