Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 16)

I made this recipe possibly 10 months ago, it was delicious and everyone raved about my chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, the only thing I was trying to do before this was make a peanut butter marshmallow (Fluff) icing. I mixed a little together to see the consistency and it was too thick even adding milk it seemed to sticky. So when I made this I added a little fluff for flavor and put fluff between the cake layers. My sister wants a cake with peanut butter cups on top for her birthday so I came back for the recipe. :) its very good, not too sweet like others.

Wonderful!! No complaints - but I did follow others' advice and beat the butter and peanut butter for several minutes before I added the powdered sugar. I also had the butter and peanut butter at room temp.

This is a really good peanut butter frosting. It came out perfect the first time I made it. I did not have to add more milk. It's the right consistency for piping and decorating.

I made this exactly as written, and it is fabulous, I used my stand mixer, and after all ingredients and all the milk had been added, I let it go on medium for 3-4 minutes. It whipped up very nicely. I piped it into some chocolate cordial cups, froze them, and served them chilled. It is very good.

How great is this frosting? I made some brownies and wanted a peanut butter frosting to top it off. Found this recipe, and -- wham -- in no time at all the brownies had a frosting. Seriously, making this took no time at all. I didn't need to use the milk, and I thought it tasted delicious after about half the sugar. It was so great like that, I nixed adding the milk or additional sugar. Perhaps it was because the peanut butter I had contained honey. Whatever. This recipe is the best! Much better than store bought stuff. Thank you for posting this. What a fine find!

I made this with all natural pb (Adams), and it came out out just fine. Not really sure why some others using the natural style might have had problems?? I made a 1/2 batch to frost an 11"x13" cake-like blondie recipe and was very enthusiastically gobbled up & enjoyed by everyone. :)

This frosting is delicious and just as titled, fluffy. I don't think I used as much milk as the recipe called for but it was close. The first time I made it I added more milk and it wasn't as fluffy. Will use this recipe again and again.

this frosting is paired well with any chocolate cake. It's light, fluffy, and doesn't overwhelm with the peanut butter taste. Delicious.
