These turned out great! I doubled the recipe and the only thing I did different is add 1 tsp. of vanilla. The recipe is very forgiving as well. The second time I made them I slipped and added too much vinegar and then had to add more flour and they still turned out perfect. My husband loves them. We topped them off with strawberry jam and gobbled them up.

I didn't have the fluffiness that I expected from this recipe. It seemed similar to the one that my mother used to make for us when we were kids, but after adding berries to the mix, it just sunk and was very unimpressive and my mother's recipe never did that; she always added berries to her pancakes and they were always very fluffy and yummy. That's what I'm missing...does someone else have a recipe for fluffy pancakes?

These pancakes were awesome! Soooo fluffy... my son ate more than usual so it is a winner for me! I had buttermilk on hand so used that instead of milk and vinegar. I also added some rolled oats which I had pulverised in a blender for extra fiber and it was still great!

These were terrific! Think I will omit the melted butter next time and see if they turn out a bit fluffier. I slather enough butter on top anyway!

These were really great! I had buttermilk on hand, so I used that in place of the milk and vinegar (which is basically what's it's making). Anyway, they were very fluffy with great flavor. I also added just a little vanilla. Exdellent recipe!

Wonderful flavor, tall and fluffy. Cooked up quickly. I took the advice of other reviewers and let it set for 10 minutes before cooking. My family loves these. I also served these with "absolute best pancake syrup" from this site. They were excellent together. Thanks for a great recipe, will make often.

I made these this weekend and they were really good! I used 1/2 all-purpose flour and 1/2 whole weat flour. They were very fluffy and delicious.

Very fluffy and tasty! I added 1 extra tbsp. of sugar and 1 tsp. of vanilla. Since I didn't have regular white vinegar, I used rice vinegar. I was skeptical that this substitution would work, but it was fantastic. I cooked mine on my griddle, but realized that I needed to cook on med-low...when I cooked over medium heat, the outsides got dark fast and the middle was undercooked. Otherwise a great recipe...definitely the best pancake recipe I've found!

Delicious pancakes! My two high school age sons loved them. Only thing I did different was to add a little vanilla to the batter because we like pancakes sweet.

They were super easy to make, with a trace of sweetness. However, the insides were sorta raw. Did I need more oil or something? The recipe made about 8 small pancakes. I suggest making these pancakes thinner so they'll cook properly, and don't use regular black vinegar like I did!

Great recipe using everything you have in your pantry.... used robin hood nutri flour, substituted lemon juice for vinegar, and becel margarine for the butter... used a non stick griddle instead of adding calories using cooking spray or oil. Came out so light and fluffly and soaked up the syrup like a sponge. Have been searching for a recipie that my husband will like more than boxed buttermilk... this is perfect, and so much healthier. Suggest doubling, makes a very small batch. Thanks for sharing a great recipe that is easily adaptable to anyone's pancake preferences!

Our grandchildren always request pancakes on Saturday morning after spending the night. They helped me make these fluffy, delicious pancakes. We added cinamon and sugar to the mix. We made both chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes. These pancakes are light, fluffy and delicious even without the syrup!
