This is like lemon foam. I didn't like the texture at all. The taste was okay, although I probably would have liked a little less sugar. I won't make it again, but for those who want to try it, I have a few comments. This recipe isn't labor-intensive, but you should notice that it takes a lot of chilling time, so plan on making it well in advance of the time that you need it. Also, the evaporated milk fluffs up a lot when you beat it, so put it in a large bowl, not a small one like the recipe calls for.

I think this recipe worked the way it's supposed to, so I don't want to give it a bad rating - but at the same time I found the texture of it a bit offputting. It's very fluffy-foamy, almost like dense soap bubbles. I was expecting something creamier, I guess. The flavor is nice - light, sweet, and tart - but I wouldn't make it again because I don't care for the texture. I'm sure there are many people who will like it this way, though. Thanks for letting me try it! :)

Very tasty, light and fluffy. I made it in a bowl and served it on a platter unmolded. I wasn't sure it would be firm enough to hold its shape but it worked just fine. I skipped the whipped topping and it was fine. It would be good with it too but I forgot to bring it with. I will definitely make this again. I will probably try it with different flavors too.

I made this for Christmas dinner. Everyone loved it! Just make sure that you have really cold milk, bowl and beaters or the milk won't peak. I will definitely make this again and again! Thanks for sharing!
