Pretty good. Came out a little better than just not using the flour. I used whole wheat and will probably throw together quick french toast like this from now on...

Excellent. Added more cinnamon and vanilla to taylor it to our taste. I am not a french toast fan and I loved this, thank you!

Great recipe and easy to make! I made some substitutions: pancake mix for flour since we had run out, brown sugar instead of the white sugar and it still came out great! I intend to use regular flour next time but for now it was great.

A winner! My stepson ate it all up and declared they were as good as my pancakes (which he asks for EVERY weekend). I think I'll make some more of this french toast today! So good, syrup isn't even necessary.

This recipe is certainly a keeper. Easy to make. Tastes fantastic. Just a bit different than the traditional french toast recipe - and it makes a big difference in taste.

It's not JUST french toast, its PERFECT french toast. Be sure to use thick Texas toast like the recipe suggests.

I gave this recipe 4 stars only because I have not tried any other french toast recipes to compare to. It is very good, very easy, very fast, and very filling! I add a couple tablespoons of caramal/vanilla coffee creamer which adds lots of flavor (and you can choose from many other creamer flavors at the store)

It's a very good recipe. I added more cinnamon, halved the sugar and still found it to be tasty. Especially topped with some honey! I found some of my slices to be a bit soggy but that could have been my fault for letting it soak up too much of the mixture.

Great recipe. Although I couldn't really tell much of a difference with the inclusion of the flour, if anything it reduced the sogginess a bit. I would recommend letting thicker breads soak in the mixture for a little bit longer though, I noticed the flavor didn't soak through the bread unless I let it soak for about 10-15 mins in the fridge. Will definitely make again.

Yummy! I made with Texas Toast. I didn't have any milk, so I just used 1/2 and 1/2. You should note that with Texas Toast I only got 8 slices cooked with the batter.
