This is one of the best recipes our family has tried! It made VERY fluffy pancakes and they held their shape very well when poured onto to gridle. Remember to "fold" the beaten egg whites in, do not over mix! This is important because they will not be fluffy in over mixed.

I really liked the consistency of the pancake. I paired it up with the Coconut Syrup recipe from this site and it made up for the lack of sugar in the pancake.

Really good if you follow the recipe and add vanilla and sugar.

I was disappointed to find that this pancake turned out very bland and tasteless, even after I added cinnamon and vanilla. The texture and fluffiness was perfect, it just had no flavor. For the second batch, I added blueberries to the mix and that helped. Maybe sugar would have helped. I probably won't make this again.

Never again will I use pancake mix! These pancakes were better than any box mix you'll ever find. Definitely not "eggy" and very fluffy indeed. Not difficult to prepare either. You Canadians are doing something great with your pancakes!

quite yummy pancakes, I added one packet of vanilla sugar to the pancakes and they were quite scrumptious! I did think however, they had a bit of a dough like aftertaste, however this may have been caused by the way i cooked them.

These are GREAT!!! They do tend to be a little eggy, but they remind me of French Toast without all the weight in your tummy. If they are too eggy for you use Medium eggs. I also added sugar to the egg whites and vanilla to the wet mixture and they were perfect! My husband who isn't a big breakfast food person(especially pancakes) absolutely LOVED them.

YUM!! I'm going to delete the other pancake recipe that I saved to my recipe box after tasting these! The batter seemed very thin so I did add 1/4 c. more flour and added a little sugar. Other than that no real changes were made. My kids loved them as well.

I'll give these two stars because they are light and fluffy as described, but they are also tasteless and really "eggy" as others have mentioned. I added just a bit of vanilla and sugar, which were no help at all in overcoming the overwhemling tase of egg.

Excellent recipe! I used a level-ish tablespoon of caster sugar as well, but I could have added more. I found the recipe produced 12 pancakes, each made from a quarter-cup of the batter. Vanilla essence and more sugar will be in the mixture next time. I used an electric whisk beater thing to beat the egg whites, and it took long enough with that. You'd be an idiot to try to do it by hand. W King is a pancake genius!

Just made them for Pancake Tuesday. Filled my Canadian spirits while living in England. Easy to make, fluffy, tasty, delicious. Definite recommendation.

Very fluffy! Perhaps a bit of vanilla/sugar for a sweeter taste, but we loved these and will use the recipe, amended, as 'ours'!

I added the sugar and half a tablespoon of cinnamon to the dry mix, did not add anything to the egg whites. They turned out okay, Definently better than a Bisquick mix would have. Half a tablespoon if cinnamoin was a bit much next time I think I would only add a full teaspoon. I also dont think I whipped the egg whites enough, they were still a bit runny. I will definently make these again just I will play around with the recipie a bit more.

I saw this recipe and thought to myself "seperating the eggs, of course" and was eager to try. The result was that it's a good idea but my family found them dry and bland. I'll try them again and add sugar and reduce egg.

I added 2T of sugar to the egg whites and to the mix along with 2T of cinnamon to the mix. These are the best pancakes I've ever had. I am going to make these all of the time.
