Everyone loved it. The cake tastes a bit more like a fudge brownie than I expected but it was delicious. We will definitely make this again and again.

My family loves this recipe. It is also great to take to parties or bake sales. It is really very simple. I replace the cocoa powder with more chocolate like others suggested and it has a rich, chocolate taste. Adding the hard chocolate glaze to the top finishes it off nicely. We love this served with fresh raspberries, strawberries and a dollop of cream. Yum!

Amazing. Huge hit. Served dusted with powdered sugar & drizzled with raspberry sauce. I cut down the cocoa powder to 1/4 cup & added more chocolate.

The only reason this is getting four stars instead of five is because I made it once as written and once with the suggestion to use all chocolate and increase the baking time 10 mins. This second way is outrageously better than using the cocoa.

i'm giving this 5 starts because it was quick and easy, but more importantly it made my son's day. he's a 3 year old autistic and we're transitioning him to gluten free as it's been known to help with some of the symptoms. he loves chocolate cake (he calls it "heck") and since he already had to give up his fave cereal i knew i had to find him a cake. well he loved it. it was more like a brownie but he didn't care. i personally didn't care for the bitter taste from the cocoa but he was fine with it. and i didn't have to look for all those weird gluten free ingredients. this is a keeper and will be my son's new "heck." THANKS!

SO good! Very rich, very decadent, and my friend who doesn't like chocolate cake was in love with it! Such an easy recipe, but tastes like you spent days on it.

I made this for my B-I-L's birthday party and I didn't even get a piece but apparently it was the best thing that everyone at the party had ever tasted....they all agreed it was so rich and moist. I can't wait to make it for myself! LOL I'm giving it a 5 regardless of the fact that I haven't tasted it because it was ridiculously easy to make and got such rave reviews!

A huge hit! I didn't have solid chocolate, so I substituted with chocolate chips. I made it peanut butter flavored by using 1/2 c pb instead of butter and used peanut butter chips instead of semi sweet. It was good the first day but 100% better the next so let it sit awhile.

very very good, and very very chocolatey. However, I had to bake mine for 45 minutes instead of 30.

Too much cocoa flavour for me; although could be using a poor quality powder. Imagine it makes a difference, considering the amount that goes into it. Didn't really satisfy a chocolate cake craving either; felt more like chocolate fudge than chocolate cake.

This is a melt in your mouth chocolate cake...wow! I doubled the recipe and baked in a 9 inch spring form pan...came out perfectly after cooking for 45 minutes. I served with a raspberry coulis sauce and whipped cream...family absolutley loved it! Very rich, you won't need more than one slice.

Absolutely amazing recipe! I made it exactly according to directions - and it was wonderful!! The one thing I forgot was to dust my cake pan with cocoa powder and my cake did stick some - but it tasted wonderful!!

DELICIOUS! I needed to make a gluten-free chocolate trifle, and this cake was perfect for the job. It was like a super-fudgey-brownie cake, and was excellent when paired with the whipped topping, pudding and Kahlua in the trifle. I used dairy-free margarine to bake the cake and it came out just fine. Will definitely make again.

Yum Yum! I needed a recipe for a dessert with no flour and this fit the bill. My husband said it tasted as good as it smelled when it was cooking :) I changed the serving to 10 since I used the springfoam pan and it is 9". Did end up cooking it a little longer than the orig recipe by ~10 minutes.

DELICIOUS! Found this while looking for something to bring over to my mom who is gluten intolerant. Everyone loved it. I took the advice to use all chocolate (I used semi-sweet morsels) and no cocoa and served it with ice cream & strawberries. The family was split 50/50 on vanilla vs. coffee ice cream, so bring both like I did. Heaven on a plate.
