If you make it the night before, don't add the cashews. Made that mistake and, of course, they were soggy the next day. Has a nice flavor and will probably make it again.

My southern husband found it very good and he is trying to turn his yankee bride into a southern belle. This chicken salad might have done the trick! I did add onion as another reviewer did and I think it added alot. I also spiced up the "dressing" with dill and pepper. Will make again. Very good on crackers with hot tea.

A friend of mine made this for a party except she shredded the chicken into fine shreds and used only miracle whip without the sour cream. We ate it on crackers, but she liked it so much she ate it all by itself...it was delicious!

this was really good! scales down easily and the only thing i substituted was miracle whip for the mayo, lite sour cream and red wine vinegar for the dressing...also added 1-2 tbs finely chopped sweet onion for extra flavor but not sure it really needed it
