very good. will be hard to go back to plain tomato soup after this. the basil makes the difference to me. would be easy to double for a family supper.

This is really easy and super yummy! I didn't change a thing with the original recipe.

Great recipe! I just added a can of diced tomatoes for a little more texture and tomato flavor. Thanks!

Love this recipe! The only thing I changed was I added about 3 tbsp. of tomato basil brushetta and let simmer. The texture and flavour was wonderful!

This was very quick and easy. I cooked the onions until they were very tender. I would definetly make again. It made for a very good lunch.

I was really surprised how good this turned out. I didn't add the onions because I didn't want any chunks.

We didn't have onions on hand, so we had to omit. However, this soup turned out excellent!!! We will be making this recipe every time we do grilled cheese, but I'll have to double the recipe because we all wanted seconds.

This recipe is awesome! What a great way to spice up tomato soup. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat it straight out the can like I used to after trying it this way. Plus it's easy on the wallet. Great success!

This is yummy! It makes regular condensed tomato soup a lot better. I like to add dried red pepper to make it a little spicy, and garnish with parmesan cheese~

This recipe was good but it just didn't wow me. Id like even more flavor. Perhaps I just needed fresh basil for a stronger taste.

This was absolutely delicious. Don't forget the can of condensed soup, however, it really helps with the tomato flavor.

Was a nice change of pace. Garlic powder was a little too much for my tasting though. Will definitely make again with just less garlic powder.

My version of this recipe uses dried minced onion, garlic powder, and dried mixed Italian herbs. I replace the last two tablespoons of milk with low fat or fat free cream. After pouring the soup into two mugs, I dust each cup with a scant half teaspoon of grated Parmesan cheese. It's luxurious with a grilled cheese.

This was wonderful. My husband thought I'd been slaving over a hot stove! I had one roma tomato that needed to be used so I chopped it and sauteed it with the onion. Other than that I didn't change a thing. I'll definitely make this again, and for company too.

Loved that this recipes was quick and easy! It turned out great and my husband really liked the taste. I actually added some white rice to the soup to thicken it and topped it off w/ some flat leaf parsley! Still, turned out great. And I popped some sourdough slices in the oven for 5 minutes....topped with shredded mozerella cheese and basil...made a great side!

This soup was easy, came together quickly, and had a great taste for semthing so simple. To give it a little more substance, I added a drained can of petite diced tomatoes. I gave it a 4 because it seemed a bit thin. I wish it would have been more creamy.
