Flavorful Tomato Soup
SUBMITTED BY:
Jean Sullivan
"A COOKBOOK recipe called for ingredients I didn't have on hand, so I improvised and came up with this. I call it 'razzmatazz' tomato soup. I often take it to soup suppers at church, and I've given the recipe to many friends. -Jean Sullivan, Denver, Colorado"

Loved that this recipes was quick and easy! It turned out great and my husband really liked the taste. I actually added some white rice to the soup to thicken it and topped it off w/ some flat leaf parsley! Still, turned out great. And I popped some sourdough slices in the oven for 5 minutes....topped with shredded mozerella cheese and basil...made a great side!

This soup was easy, came together quickly, and had a great taste for semthing so simple. To give it a little more substance, I added a drained can of petite diced tomatoes. I gave it a 4 because it seemed a bit thin. I wish it would have been more creamy.

This was very nice. I have always hated tomato soup, but I decided to try it today while I made myself, my dad, and my brother grilled cheese sandwiches. It turned out very well, and was obviously incredibly easy. I will definitely make it again.

So good and so easy! My husband didn't like the onion pieces in it so I strained the soup and it still tasted homemade and wonderful!

This was yummy! I am the type of person who likes to dress things up a bit, especially if they come from a can. This was good, and my kids liked it.

This is a nice way to spruce up a regular can of soup with ingredients often already in the kitchen.
