Absolutely fantastic chili. Great flavor, perfect consistency, nothing was too overpowering. Won't have to search for anymore chili recipes.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this Chili but we found it needed a bit more salt. I think it's because I used the "blue menu" Tomato juice and it contained less sodium. Still yummy.

This was good standard chili. I only had one pound of ground beef but added the same amount of spice in along with a big can (28oz) of chopped tom's (not drained) and no tomato juice from recipe and it tasted good. I might add some sausage next time. If you do this with 2 pounds of ground beef I would definitely add more of the spices!

Don't put in so much chili powder - very good, but it had a kick, before you could finish the bowl. Used a can of tomato soup, added a can of mushrooms, 686ml can of pasta sauce, and 540ml can of tomato juice.

A hearty, meaty basic chili recipe. This is the grandchildren's favorite. After cooking beans from scratch this is one of our favorite 'leftover' recipes.

Easy and guests liked it so Thanks!! The only thing I changed was instead of adding the tomato juice, I substituted 29 oz can of diced tomatoes.

This recipes was awesome but I did make some modifications because I wanted to make it more healthy and lowfat. I used the spices as stated except added an additional teaspoon of cumin. I used only 1 lb. of ground beef. Instead of tomato sauce I used 2 (15oz) cans of diced tomates, 1 with chili's one without. Instead of tomato juice I used 1 large (28oz) can of crushed tomatoes. I omitted the celery and onion because of preference but used a total of 2 chopped green peppers. For the beans I used 1 can of light red kidney, 1 can of dark red kidney, 1 can of pinto and 1 can of black beans. I did purchase 1 can of tomato sauce in cause it needed to be thinner but didn't need it. Awesome flavor with moderate spice. The family loved it!!!

Ok the first day, MUCH better the next day. I omitted the celery and bell pepper because of personal preference. Also I only used dark and light red kidney beans 2 cans each. And like some other reviewers suggested I used canned tomatoes versus the tomato juice.

AWESOME! I used ground turkey in place of beef. I trippled the spices and used in place of tomatoe juice, 2 cans of diced tomatoes (undrained). Really, really good recipe.
