Since my husband likes grilled and I like fried fish, I decided to make this both ways. I cut up the fish into approx 2 ounce slices and seasoned with salt and pepper. For the fried, I coated it with the beer batter which was DELICIOUS. For the grilled, I added olive oil and lime juice to the marinade for more flavor. We really couldn't decide which one we liked more because we felt both were great in their own way. I took another reviewer's advice and picked up some cole slaw from Fairway (theirs is not smothered in mayo) to substitute for the raw cabbage. That worked out GREAT and added wonderful flavors. However, I didn't love the white sauce. I thought it tasted great when it was just yogurt, mayo, lime juice, and dill weed. But after I added the oregano, cumin, and cayenne pepper, it completely changed the taste and not for the better. Next time I think I will skip those 3 ingredients and try adding Sriracha instead. Also, I chopped up fresh cilantro and diced up onions to sprinkle on top of the tacos.
