We used this recipe but with some leftover cod that we'd grilled the night before. We really liked the sauce although we halved the amount of cayenne it called for. The sauce almost tasted like tzatziki!

Made these last night and had we closed our eyes, would have thought we were back in San Diego at Rubio's Fish Tacos! Just outstanding. I used light sour cream for the yogurt as well. Cut back 1/2 on the jalapeño and cayenne even though I love spicy. Scared the heat would be too much for my family. Will add the correct amount on the cayenne next time. I also used walleye for the fish. Added in chopped cilantro. This one is a keeper for sure!

The white sauce was sooooooo gooooood. Wasn't really "white", though. Also, no way does this serve 8. It could be that instead of battered and breaded fish, I rubbed fish pieces in chili powder and grilled them, making it much lighter.

I made this for dinner tonight and it was a big hit. I ran out of time and didn't properly garnish the tacos as i intended (with a little cilantro and tomato), but they were great!

I cheated and used quality fish sticks, but the sauce was AMAZING! I could have eaten myself sick on these! I made them up with slices of fresh avacado, shredded cabbage and fresh chopped tomatoes. A KEEPER!!

I love fish tacos and was SO excited to find this. The reviewers went wild and I was sure it would be a go-to recipe in our house. But no. Even my most supportive eaters were pushing it around on their plates, thanking me for my effort. Ouch! I liked it more than anyone in the family, but I had to admit the batter was bland. The sauce was kind of good, but still disappointing. Possibly user error, but I watched the video - twice!

This is a great recipe!Have been making this for a few years and everyone who has eaten it loves it. The only difference is I put 2 or 3 chipotle peppers, minced into the batter. I think the dill weed in the white sauce makes it the best!! YUMM!

Very good! Had to substitute sour cream for the plain yogurt because that's what I had on hand, omitted jalapeno and reduced cayenne to 1/2 tsp. to be kid friendly. Only had flour tortillas and flounder fillets on hand. Even with the substitutions, it was very good and we will make it again. The beer batter recipe was great.
