Instead of frying the fish, as directed, I grilled the fish in a non-stick skillet with olive oil. The tacos turned out okay, but they definitely didn't give me that WOW factor. I will definitely batter the fish next time.

This recipe is fab. Next time, I would add a pinch of sugar to the batter. Also, as some have mentioned, salting fish after they get out of the fryer is key. We deep fried for an indulgent treat, but this sauce would be wonderful with grilled or broiled fish too!

These tasted just like the fish tacos I had when I was in San Diego. Everyone in my family loves them. The only thing I did different with these tacos is use sour cream in the sauce instead of plain yogurt because I had sour cream on hand the first time I made them. Very tasty! I'm making myself hungry. I know what I'm having for dinner tonight!

Can I give this 100 stars? This is a favorite! The sauce alone deserves 5 stars. I dip everything in the jalapeno sauce! Thank you for sharing what should be a big secret.

I spent about a year experimenting with various fish taco recipes, and this one came out on top. I follow it to the letter, except that I have started substituting tilapia for the cod. The baja sauce is awesome!

Excellent! I used fat-free sour cream in place of the yogurt, and light mayonnaise. Couldn't tell it wasn't full strength. Tonight I'll try again, using the George Forman as someone else suggested. Thanks for the great recipe!

Made this one night for dinner. I had tilapia on hand so I used that and that worked out just fine. You will want to put that white sauce on everything.

these are SO GOOD! I used to live in CO, which had a Rubio;s and I loved their fish tacos! Haven't had one in eight years, so I was so excited to try these! Very simple to make, I load mine up with cabbage and a little extra lime. I used tilapia instead of the cod, as it was what my pocketbook could afford. Serve this up with tortilla chips and refried beans spiked with lime juice, YUM!

This was awesome! I didn't batter the fish, just fried it a bit in olive oil. I also added tomatoes and used high-fiber wheat tortillas. My husband praised it too!

Good recipe. Although not authentic the use of dill weed is interesting and kinda makes sense.

This was a fantastic recipe! Husband loved it! He asks for fish tacos all the time now. I went and bought a 10lb box of cod, just to have around, so we can make these when ever we want. Good fish is hard to find in Montana. I made quac. to put on the tacos and used Pace Picante' sauce as well. We have also made soft shell tacos instead of the corn tortillas and they are wonderful as a change of pace. The sauce is great too! Thanks for this recipe!!!

VERY impressive! I love the sauce! I was hesistant @ first 'cause of the strange combo of spices, I'm so glad I tried it. I made it for my co-workers and it was a hit! I didn't add the capers although, looking back I would now. I didn't have plain yogurt so I substituted w/sour cream and I used fresh dill. VERY tasty indeed! Oh, and I used catfish. Yummy for the Tummy!

This sauce is FAB. I made ours into sort of a salad. I used a package of coleslaw, topped it with chunks of fish and added the sauce. We topped ours with pineapple salsa. SOO YUMMY.

This is incredibly good! My boyfriend and I almost ate all the servings! Thank you very much for the recipe. The sauce is out of this world. And the batter is great even for Fish and Chips recipe. I followed the recipe, but replaced the Cod with Tilapia (it's cheaper and more available here in the West Coast).

My review is for the sauce only - used store bought fish. The suace is amazing. I left out the cumin, but left everything else the same and it is delicious! I wanted to put it on everything and it was also good for dipping my fries! I used old corn tortillas from the freezer and that didn't work well, so next time I will use fresh. I also loved the cabbage, gave it a nice crunch!
