I had some mini marshmallows to use up and this was the answer. I had no baking chocolate so I used powered cocoa and butter but you would never know it. They didn't bake up with the grainy texture other eceipes do. The marshmallows did burn a bit on top so next time I will check for doneness at 30 minutes. Nice treat!

I'm not a big brownie person, but these were AWESOME. I loved that the mini marshmallows created a crunchy gooeyness around the edges and in the top. SOOOOO good!

These are excellent brownies! I was looking for something different from my standard and happened across these. Had both walnuts and marshmallows hanging around so gave these a go. So good! A couple of things: I found these exceptionally difficult to mix (I used a wooden spooon - never beat brownies!) and doneness was difficult to judge based on appearance b/c of the bubbling marshmallows. For our tastes, they were perfect at 30 minutes. They won't replace my go to recipe, but I'd make these again. Oh, one more thing: if you or your children have any kind of dental appliance I'd advise staying away from these! They seriously gummed up my daughter's space maintainer :-) Oh well, live and learn.

So, so good! These brownies are chocolately, nutty and fudgy. The ultimate treat. This a recipe I will hold on to forever. I made the recipe exactly as it is written and it came out perfectly!

I made these for my youngest daughter and her friends. She absolutely loved them and said they were just as she likes a brownie, fudgy and gooey. Her friends have asked when I'm going to make them again. Thanks for a big hit.

I followed this recipe to the "T" and it came out great. I had to cook it about an hour and I burned the marshmellows a little but it still tasted amazing! Thank You!

I am a very picky brownie person and I have to say these are very good! They are fudge-like, which is what I prefer. I liked how the marshmallows melted while baking and made them even more gooey. I mixed in 1 cup of chocolate chips with the batter and then sprinkled the last 1/2 cup on top. Nice, different option.

I've made these brownies several times since '99, when I first came across this recipe in one of my Taste of Home Cookbooks. My daughther was in college at the time too, and really appreciated them--as did her high school aged brother and friends! They are the perfect combination of chocolatiness and gooeyness, so I have never felt the need to toy with the recipe. They really are delicious, and quick and easy to mix together too, so I'm pleased to see this recipe on AR and am surprised more people haven't tried them! As with any brownie, just make sure not to overbake.

Great! Great! Very Chocolaty. I just added 11/2 cups of chips straight to the mix. Next time, I will reduce the sugar. Otherwise, wonderful brownie to appease the chocoholic.

Wow, this is the best brownies I've ever tasted. I just baked it yesterday and my husband and I have already finished almost half of it. I followed all recipe except that I used 1 3/4 cups of sugar instead of 2 cups because I was scared that it would turn out to be so sweet. It just turned out great.

I give it only three stars because it was too chocolately for me. In fact they were so chocolately no one ate them so I ended up throwing most of them out. I over cooked them which didn't help. I will try them again though and see if they are better a 2nd time around, but I will not use the 1 cup of choclate chips on the top. I think the marshmellows, nuts and chocolate chips inside is enough.

Even though I don't use the marshmellows, these come out perfectly all the time. They are very rich and you get this perfect chocolate experience. I add a little milk and sometimes use different nuts. Overall, excellent recipe!
