This recipe is adapted from a famous Filipino restaurant in Manila, Philippines. The longer you marinate in the refrigerator, the better it gets! This is one dish that doesn't spoil right away. Best served hot over steamed rice.

I grew up around Philippine families, and learned how to make adobo. I've since 'Americanized' the recipe, and customized it to suit my family's tastes. It's a meltingly tender, sharp-flavored stew that can be made with pork or chicken. Best served over rice.

This is a Filipino recipe which was carried down to me. I just added the jalapeno for spice and used the chicken wings. You can use pork or whole cut up chicken too. This is great as an appetizer or you can serve it as a meal with steamed Jasmine rice. Enjoy this! you will never go back to the same ole' hot wings.

Make a big batch of these ribs because they will disappear quickly! Ribs simmered in soy sauce, onions and star anise are finished with a baked-on glaze of honey, ginger, soy and Worcestershire sauce and a touch of lemon.

Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce are the base of the marinade for this smoky pork tenderloin. The pork is grilled to perfection, and sliced into thin strips. Serve on a bed of baby greens or shredded Napa cabbage.

This recipe is for a quick Japanese style pork saute. Great with rice and steamed veggies on the side. You can also double the recipe and use whole Pork Chops or chicken breasts for grilling!

A very simple and quick Filipino dish. This is a sour broth soup with tilapia fish fillets. The flavor is sour but it actually enhances your appetite. This is considered comfort food in my house.
