This was delicious and so easy to make. I subsituted cream with coconut cream and it added a really lovely nutty flavour. I am looking forward to making it again and adding some more vegetables. Must try.

I really thought this would be gobbled up by my pasta loving kids. What's not to love...pasta, bacon, cheese, cream. It's worth another run past the family, but if not received better next time, it won't make it into the menu rotation.

Has all the basic ingredients yet it lends itself to variations. I always keep a quart of heavy cream in the fridge for the spur-of-the-moment days when I feel like having this. Flavored bacon, like Trader Joe's apple-wood smoked ends and pieces, is my favorite addition here.

This was fabulous. I would highley suggest it however I would drain most of the grease prior to adding it to the past.

I loved this recipe but unfortunately I had to take off a star for the kid rating. My kids really didn't like it I don't know why. I did in fact reduce the bacon to half a pound and it was still really good.

This would have been a five star if I'd read the reviews first and browned and drained the bacon before adding the onions and shallots. The bacon didn't crisp up and the onions caramalized right to the pot. That said, it tasted great.
