I forgot to add the garlic until after the potatoes were done I made the mistake of using garlic powder first instead of just putting in some jarred garlic. I would have probably liked this recipe more had I had fresh garlic. I used more than 4oz of feta. More like 8 oz. and I liked that. Instead of using heavy whipping cream we used half & half and a little butter. I enjoyed these potatoes even though I changed the recipe a bit, but it isn't my favorite & I probably won't make it again in the near future but probably will eventually.

What a great twist on regular mashed potatoes! To give it more flavor I used garlic and herb feta instead. Next time I make them I plan on using the tomato and basil feta. It costs the same as the plain feta and adds a lot of zest to the dish.

This was a hit. My first time making Mashed Potatoes ever, and it turned out great. Just added a little bit of sour cream and chives over what the recipe said. Served at a dinner party with Meatloaf and green bean casserole.

I initially made this as written but ended up adding some garlic powder as there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. If I were to make it again, I would use oven-roasted garlic. Oh, and add the salt sparingly; I found the feta provided plenty.

Wow! Had to try this one and I'm glad I did~ One thing I did differently though - I finely chopped fresh garlic instead of boiling it with the potatoes,then added it whilst whipping the lot.We love garlic here in this house(worry about my friends who do not) and the flavor was so good this way. The feta cheese was just what was needed as a compliment. This recipe is a keeper for sure!

Nice change. Everyone liked them fine, there was not a huge taste difference from my regular potatoes though. Next time I think I will try the Blue Cheese or a flavored Feta instead of regular Feta. Not a whole lot of flavor with this recipe.

Made this with chicken breast for dinner tonight. It was actually very good! I used fat free half and half instead of the cream. The feta added just the right amount of cheese flavor, and I didn't have to add butter, which is a nice low-fat change.

We are big feta fans and the feta called for wasn't enough for us. I think we'll add more next time. We peeled the potatoes. Nice texture when whipped. I will be serving again.
