the dough was easy to work with if you use a stand mixer, making sure to use the dough hook near the end. I liked the fact, that you didn't need to refrigerate these before you bake them. Also, I made mine with a heaping tablespoonfull so that we would have more smaller cookies. Yummm!

Brilliant! I used mini semi sweet chips and everyone thought they were amazing. Cookies that are better than these don't exist. They're that good!!

I have tried many recipes, looking for that perfect chewy cookie like you can find at the bakery, and this is it! They came out perfect! I cut the recipe in half (I knew if they turned out good I would be tempted to eat way too many)and followed it exactly and they came out great! So Happy!!!

So these were really good, but not my favorite I have made from the site. I expected them to be a fuller thicker cookie. But I love trying new things, and these did not disappoint. I used milk chocolate chips, one cup of whole wheat flour (I try to sneak it in whenever I can) and cooked for 15 minutes.

These are really one of a kind, that's for sure. Even coming out they was something different about them. Needless to say they were a hit, my dad describing like a sugar cookie, sweet with chocolate chips added to them an not dry. Then they dissapeared ;P I think I'll make this my regular, replacing Big Fat Chewy Cookies on this site. Right now I got them in the oven with Cookie Dough Cupcakes by lovestohost [[whose been doing a pretty sweet job pimpin' these out, by the way]]. :D THANKS so much

very good cookies. everyone LOVED them but they were a little too cakey for my taste. i followed the recipe exactly and they turned out way bigger than i usually make my cookies. i got 34 cookies (only fit 8 on a cookie sheet). still searching for the very best chocolate chip cookie recipe but this is definitely a keeper!

I'm not going to try to say these aren't the best because wow! I was digging the explosion of flavor in my mouth when I was eating these! These cookies are like the ones you get at a bakery. I did not deviate from the recipe at all! Crispy edges, moist centers. Wow. Very good. Make sure you let them cool the whole time.

Good, but not my favorites. I'm not sure why mine didn't turn out chewy, but I prefer crispy cookies anyways.

Ok Felix K.... I was skeptical when I read the title but after seeing the reviews and making them myself, they are FABULOUS! My kids absolutely loved them and I can't keep my hands off them! Followed the recipe and wouldn't change a thing.

These cookies are AMAZING! Any time I want to make chocolate chip cookies, I immediately turn to this recipe. They are soft and delicious! I make the cookies smaller than the recipe calls for so I can eat more with less guilt! :) I would recommend this recipe to anyone!

These are the best cookies I have ever made, they go out instantly at any social gathering. The key is to use ingrediants that have more flavor, i.e dark brown suger and dark chocolate chips instead of the semi-sweet kind. Also, take them out of the oven as soon as you can withdraw a toothpick cleanly from the center of one of the bigger cookies. Also, if you melt the butter completely instead of just creaming it, it will give you a chewier cookie, for those of us who like chewy cookies.

Very good recipe, I usually made Award winning from this site but I like not using the pudding mix. I used whole wheat flour and they turned out great. Used 1/8 cup measure and got 40 large cookies.

Flour here is milled a bit finer than, say Gold Medal, for instance, so I tried compensating by adding a bit more flour (maybe a full 1/4 cup) to make the dough less manageable as described by other reviewers. I must have come really close. These are so good...and not difficult in the least! Worst part was waiting 20 minutes to remove from pan!

Really good! They may not be the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had but I don't think they should loose a star for that because they were excellent. Great flavor, not overly sweet, crisp edges with a chewy middle...just all around a very tasty cookie. This is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I've tried so far from this site. Make these!
