This was tasty - I had never had anything like it before. However, I could only eat so much... the taste/texture started to turn me off. I probably won't make it again, I have other chicken recipes I prefer.

I agree with trying the recipe as written the 1st time. In spite of being full of good tasting ingredients, this dish seemed a bit short on flavour. It won't be part of my regular rotation.

This was delicious. I used sliced almonds as I had them on hand, but otherwise followed the recipe. My husband hates mayonnaise, but ate this without complaining and even ate the leftovers the next day. I'll be making this one again, for sure!

Love this recipe! It is a new family favorite! I have seen several of these "Hot Chicken Salad" recipes, but this is my favorite by far, had excellent flavor. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

I made a few changes to this recipe and it turned out great! I left out the pimientos and used 1 can of corn instead (dont forget to drain the corn). Also, I am not a fan of lemon so I substituted chicken broth. Because the recipe calls for 5 cups of chicken, I thought it would be better to use 2 cups of rice instead of 1.. because of this you may need a little extra mayonnaise and chicken broth (or lemon juice). The chip and cheese topping are a great idea it tasted great! Serve it with a garden salad and you have a wonderful, easy meal.
