I really liked this slaw...it's very "refreshing" not heavy at all. I didn't add bacon because I didn't take the time to cook it. But, it was fine without it. It's probably best very thinly shredded to keep the dressing distributed. Tasted great with barbequed chicken and twice baked potatoes.

This is an amazing recipe! It's simple and very tasty. I did omit the bacon, sugar and vinager to get rid of the tangy taste, and it still was great.

Really tangy dressing on this salad. I was low on time, so I used a pre-packaged broccoli slaw mix and real bacon bits and changed the white onions to green onions. When I made the dressing, it wasn't near enough, so I made it a second time. I also added pepper and a bit of Tabasco. Really good. I plan on not only making this again, but sharing the recipe with friends. This slaw is EXCELLENT on ham sandwiches.
