This was pretty good. I should have used more garlic powder like other reviewers suggested. I did use 1 med onion chopped as well as some carrots (get some veggies into the kids). :) Because we can't have gluten, we substituted gluten-free bread crumbs. Next time, I will definitely add more spices and it should be even better.

VERY good!! I used to work at an Italian restaurant and my husband thinks these are way better!! I followed another users review and added some extra spices: 1/2 tsp. sage, 3 tbs. grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. Italian seasoning, 1 tsp. onion powder, 2 cloves of minced garlic and a dash of garlic powder, and some ground pepper. I cooked them according to the directions then added them to the crock pot (on low) with a jar of regular spaghetti sauce and left them in there for a few hours! My husband ate almost every single on before I could even finish cooking the spaghetti that night!!

Great recipe for kids. If you cook it for adults then you probably will want to season it. Me and my kids enjoyed it!

I think this is a good starting point for meatballs, gives you a good idea of the basic recipe. Then you can add in whatever herbs you like to personalize it to your own taste. We added 2 Tbs. parm cheese, as well as some sage, garlic, and salt/pepper.

I made this recipe for my boyfriend last night because he really wanted meatballs! I thought these were a great healthy option with the turkey. I added a pinch of salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. They baked as recommended and were really pretty good! I think I'll have to make these again!

It was a good recipe, but I used whole wheat bread pulsed in a coffee grinder for bread crumbs vs. italian seasoning bread crumbs. My daughter is allergic to dairy so I had to make the substitution and it turned out great. Thanks for a good basic recipe.

I folled the recipe exactly and thought the meatballs came out bland..with hardly any flavor. If i had to do it again I would add alot more spices!! I probably won't use this recipe again.

This recipe totally works for fast and easy spaghetti and meatballs. I had to double the recipe, and the proportions worked fine. I didn't have any eggs, but the turkey meatballs still held together. I used salt, pepper, and Liebers seasoning salt to spice it up. I didn't have croutons, so I toasted 3 pieces of sourdough bread to dark brown and cubed/shredded them. I used basic Prego sauce which made the cooking time even quicker. My teens and husband all went for seconds, then thirds!

As written, this recipe needs some help. It's crying for more flavor. Some onion? some garlic? Herbs? The flavored bread crumbs aren't enough to carry this recipe. There is no reason to use 7% fat turkey. Lower is ok. Try to purchase ground turkey without added salt. Store ground usually is salt free. On the plus side, and the reason I gave this a two, is because it is fast. Cooking in the oven is a good idea.
