I made them with buffalo meat and chopped up some fresh greens to put in them. I especially like this recipe because they are baked.

I just made this tonight and it was DELICIOUS! It was my first time ever making meatballs. I used 99% fat free Jenny O ground turkey instead of the 7% fat ground turkey. I'm not sure why someone would think 7% fat is required. I always opt to pay a little more for the healthier version of everything. I always read quite a few reviews for a recipe before I attempt to make it so I can take not of any suggestions or changes. I added italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, a sprinkle of pepper, no added salt because there's already enough in the turkey, and 1/4 cup water. The tip on adding that little bit of water was very helpful. The meatballs came out very flavorful and extremely moist! Everything these days from ready-prepared foods (frozen dinners, canned foods), to restaurants and fast food, is overloaded with salt and people seem to be ignorant to their intake of salt more than fat and cholesterol. All 3 are important to watch. I always keep recipes as healthy as possible by reducing oils, butter, salt, etc and the recipe still results in good food. I almost never eat beef and I don't eat pork. I only eat chicken and turkey so this was not a big change for me. I loved this recipe and will be adding it to my 'recipe book'.

Really quick and easy for any type of meal. Wouldn't recommend reheating but it was pretty good for a quick meat for spaghetti or in meatball subs

These were so good, I used ground chicken instead of turkey! I only gave it four stars because I added lots of extra spices, fresh garlic and parmesan cheese! Yum!!

What a easy and scrumptious recipe. I was tired of making the regular spaghetti meat sauce so I tried this. I used ground turkey. I had company and they were licking their fingers. Thanks for the recipe

Yummy meatballs! I gave it a 4, only because it needs way more seasoning. I use garlic salt, onion powder, crushed red pepper, and oregano.

Yummy & so easy. Made them with lean red meat & added Parmesan cheese to the mix, plus a teaspoon of chopped garlic. For breadcrumbs, I used fat free Italian seasoning croutons (mashed up in a ziplock bag, for fine crumbs). First time making meatballs & the Family LOVED them!! Even my 4 year old went crazy for these meatballs. They were a hit. Next time I want to add some worcestershire sauce for a little kick. I like quick and easy meals, this is a topper, for sure!! Also, used a lowfat spray-on olive oil, for the pans.

They took longer to cook then expected, and were a little dry. Next time I will use more seasoning, and make sure everything is timed better.

I was looking for a meatball recipe to "knock my socks off," but this was not it. First of all, I had a hard time finding ground turkey that was 7% fat. Had to use 5% instead. Then it just didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped, even though I added 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, 2 cloves minced garlic, some extra Italian herbs, salt and black pepper. My husband thought it was just so-so. My son ate all his pasta, but only 2 bites of meatball...unusual. I might try to make it again, but will definitely use lean ground beef instead of turkey.

These were awesome! Believe it or not, my first time making meatballs for spaghetti and they turned out amazing!!!!!!!!! I used ground beef, added minced onions, and plenty of garlic salt. I served it in spaghetti sauce topped on thin spaghetti noodles with a side of buttered corn.....love it! Thank U!!

Easy recipe. Meatballs are kinda bland, but existing recipe is a good base for embellishing to suit your palate. I usually mix in chopped onion to give them moisture and texture. The meatballs are much enhanced when placed in a sauce to simmer for a few minutes prior to serving them.

Good basic recipe with a lot of room for addition to make them unique and even better. I used plain breadcrumbs, italian seasonings, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, fresh pepper, parsley, and some diced onion. Cooked as directed and then simmered with canned sauce for an easy Spaghetti and Meatballs.

I added the suggestions for the recipe with the onions, garlic, sage and parm cheese. I also substituted oatmeal and 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning for the bread crumbs and it turned out super.
