We were going to my friend's house for Christmas Eve dinner and I made 2 of these - one chocolate and one butter loaf. By the end of the night there wasn't a piece left! The presentation was very impressive (her guests showered accolades on me!) She asked for the recipe and made her swear not to divulge the easiness of the preparation. We added chopped walnuts and pecans on top of the cake along with a few sprigs of mint. Definitely a keeper!
