You must make this using Ritz Crackers. The only other thing I changed was from 1/2 cup butter to 1/4 cup. It wasn't as crispy as I hoped and turned them over after 20 minutes. I will try next time to add lots of crusted crackers.

I would suggest to brown the pork chops first.

The best pork chops I've made yet! Soooo tender and easy. The next time I may try some different varieties of spices/herbs. Highly recommend this recipe.

I used boneless center cut chops, about 3/4" thick. Overcooked the first time. Second time, I cooked them at 350F for one hour - perfect. Used cracker crumbs and half the butter. Also flash fried them first.

Didn't have ritz, but taking into account everyone saying don't substitue for saltenes I used chicken in a biscuit crackers- FANTASTIC DH loved it! Will make it again; couldn't get it uniformly crispy though, middle of them did not crisp up. Still very good.

Very good. I used garlic & herb topper crackers and skipped the salt. I only used 1/4 cup of butter. During the last few minutes I turned on the broiler to get some brown on them.

I was in a hurry so didn't read other reviews which I should have because I didn't care for this at all. The pork chops were tough and the breading was mushy.

I followed the recipe measurements exactly. The only thing I did different was to add the garlic salt and pepper directly onto the chop before I dipped them in the egg. That way, the pork chops would be sure to get lots of seasoning. I used Ritz crackers and I did turn them over once after about 30 minutes, then uncovered for the last 15-20 minutes. These had a delicious flavor. My husband raved about this dish and couldn't believe how savory it was. My dogs feasted on the bones too. It was all good in our household. Thanks for a great recipe.

I am not a good cook. I can ruin just about anything. These were even great for me! I was very impressed!! I used someone's suggestion about broiling at the end to brown and used bread crumbs because I did not have Ritz crackers. I used pork steaks cut in half because I did not have pork chops. They were the best pork anything I have ever cooked!! Who would think it would be so easy and really turn out to be one of my favorite recipies. I am not even a fan of pork. I would rather have most anything else, but I will make these again and again. THANKS!!
