this was so incredibly easy to make and absolutely delicious. surrounding the chicken with the butter pieces definitely did a lot for the flavor. for someone big on flavor, i am always dipping my chicken in some type of sauce...but with this recipe, it needed no extra, so good!

This was great! I added a little bit of garlic to it and turned the breasts twice while cooking. At the end, I put the broiler on for a few minutes to brown them. Believe it or not, I made chicken salad with the leftovers. The coating was so light and flavorful, it was perfect. Added celery and light mayo and the kids loved it.

Wow! All I can say is, this is going to be one of our family favorites! I used lemon pepper with th bread crumbs. And I occasionally spooned butter over the tops of the chicken. I cooked two thick breasts for 35 min at 375. Totally delicious!

Wow, Haulbur, way to go! I do agree, however, that the cooking time should be decreased for maximum tender and juicyness. This is a 'casual' recipe that I can whip up quickly for unexpected company, leaving them thinking that I just have a natural knack for cooking. - I rate recipes by how they taste - not their 'health attributes' - I do know not to overdue it with the higher cholesteral dishes. So, as far as taste accounts, this recipe is a real winner, and I would proudly serve it to family and friends alike! Thanks for pointing out that simple additions can make a BIG difference!

Yummy and easy did use less butter and extra garlic. Also, pounded chicken a little to get more uniform thickness and cooked about 30 min.

So amazingly easy. I like this better than another version that calls for using cream of chicken soup in the recipe. There's no need for the extra fat and calories and the topping (crackers) stay crisp this way.

Everyone loved this chicken. Even my 3 year old grandson ate a full piece. I made the recipe exactly as it was written. Thank you for a wonderful addition to my menu!

Yummy! Next time I will trim the salt. When you are watching your salt you can really taste it. Use low salt crackers, garlic powder instead of garlic salt. You could also use un-salted butter.
