This is one the kids will enjoy too! I wasn't crazy when my husband said we were having butter chicken, it sounded like a heart attack chicken, but its really easy to lighten up! You won't be disappointed!

This is a good recipe. I did only use a 1/2 stick of butter. Next time, I may add more spices to the cracker mix.

This is really good country cooking dish! But you have to cut the butter to 1/2 stick otherwise it will be too greasy.

This was good, but very rich. I used other reviewers' recommendations-- pounded the chicken to 1/4" thickness, added garlic salt and pepper, decreased butter to 1/4 cup, and sprayed pans with PAM. Will make again.

This is a good recipe. I wish I would of had some of the mustard sauce left over for dipping though. Thanks for the recipe.

Awesome chicken. I don't use garlic salt. I use garlic powder and salt seperately. Sometimes things need more garlic seasoning and I don't want to add additional salt to the dish. I mixed the garlic powder in with the crumbs and I also added it to the egg mixture. I sprinkled in some paprika for a bit of color and I added some minced onion to give it a little bit more flavor. I had to set 2 cutlets aside for my daughter who was working late and I was afraid that they would be mushy when I put them in the oven when she got home but they turned out just as crispy and delicious as the ones I made earlier in the evening. So this is a recipe you can put together quickly and easily and pop in the oven when you want to eat. Next time I might coat the chicken with lite mayo and then in the cracker crumbs. Thanks for sharing.

I've used almost every kind of crackers you can imagine for this recipe. They all turn out delicious!!! The "Club" brand crackers seem to stay on the best from my experience, so use that if you want a nice presentation. This is a must try for everyone!

This was a wonderful recipe. While I was preparing it, I was very tempted to add to it because I thought it would not have enough flavor. However, I was wrong. It did need a little more salt added, but that was probably because I did not use the amount of butter they said. I sprayed my pan with cooking spray and just used about 1/4 of a cup of butter. There was plenty of butter to give it the crispness. I also turned the chicken half way through the cooking process. My husband thought it was really good and a definite keeper. Thanks for the recipe!

Whoa BABY this was Goooood! I made this for my boyfriend and I and he ate THREE chicken breasts! IT was very easy, quick and absolutely delicious. I did add a little extra seasoning (garlic pepper) to the cracker mix, and only used 3/4 stick of butter and it was great! A MUST TRY!

The chicken was very moist, but that was the only good thing about it. The flavor was too sweet, or salty, or something was just off with the flavor. I really just didn't like it, and neither did my kids, I don't think I will make this again.

Loved it! I doubled the cracker/seasoning mixture. Added a little extra garlic, also minced onion-personal preference. Used 1/2 stick butter. Be sure to either drizzle butter over the chicken while cooking or flip it over part-way through so both sides are equally wonderful. Very simple and delicious!

This is simple and quick, but not too much flavor though. I think next time I make it I will mix in a few spices with the egg.

What a treasure of a recipe! This was absolutely delicious, my hubby and I cleaned our plates. I changed the recipe a little based on other reviews: 1/2 stick butter, plenty of garlic salt, pepper and onion powder, cooked for 30 minutes. I flattened my chicken to a 1/2 inch thickness while my husband kept his chicken breast thick, and we both agreed that mine tasted better so I definitely recommend flattening the meat. I double coated the meat, and it was crunchy and so good. Next time I will make more bread crumbs up because we ran out before I could finish double coating 2 breasts. Also, I used Town & Country crackers and they were perfect. Great recipe!

Absolutely wonderful. I prepared this chicken for a book club dinner and it received rave reviews. Tender and great tasting. It is so simple to make and is a fast dinner idea. The only thing I added to the recipe was about a 1/4 tsp of paprika to the cracker crumbs. I also cut back on the butter (only 1/4 cup). I will be making this dish again and again.

I followed the recipe made no changes...(you can't really give a good review if you don't follow the recipe)and thought it was ok. The chicken was very moist, but bland. My 6 year old son loved it, and if I can get him to eat anything I'm lucky. I would make it again, maybe season the chicken next time.
