I LOVE this recipe! It's by far my favorite recipe for breaded, baked chicken that I've ever used. I used chicken breast tenderloins (about 7 small pieces), and for my crumb mixture I used a sleeve of Ritz crackers, Italian seasonings, flour, pepper onion powder and Parmesan cheese. I sprayed the bottom of the dish with cooking spray, and only used about 2 tablespoons of butter pieces around the chicken. I sprayed the tops of my chicken to give them that extra crispiness. I only had to cook mine for about 27 minutes and it was so tender I didnt even need a knife! My chicken didn't get soggy and i didn't have problems with the breading falling off or sticking to the bottom of the pan like I usually do-must be the buttery crackers. Anyway, this will be a staple in my recipe box for crispy breaded chicken from now on! Thanks!

I followed another member. 1/3 cup butter. Very simple. Did not look like the picture, but it was good. Today is cold, and it felt like comfort food! Next time I am going to flatten the chicken a little.

Delicious!! I had to cook it in my electric skillet as our kitchen is torn out, but it was very, very good. I did add about two teaspoons of flour to the cracker crumbs since I was frying it and thought that might help hold the crumbs together when I turned it - and it did! Will use the remaining two breasts tonight w/ spaghetti sauce and cheese for chicken parm!

I LOVE this chicken! It's so buttery and moist. I cut my chicken in smaller pieces so it would cook faster and do my daughter would eat it, she ate almost 4 pieces by the way and she is the pickiest eater ever. I also added more butter than called, and added some garlic. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

This was very easy and tasted great! We used breast tenderloins and Club crackers instead, and added extra seasoning to the mix. My fiance loved it! The only change would be to used less butter next time, but it was still good! An excellent base recipe!

super good...only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the bottom does get soggy - I would suggest putting the chicken on a rack in the 9x13 pan to get all sides crispy. This will definitely go into the rotation!

This so easy and everyone loved it! I doubled the recipe but only used 1 stick of butter. It only took 25 minutes in my oven. I'm glad I read the other reviews about checking it early. It was so tender!!

This was such an easy recipe to cook. It was by far one of the best chicken recipes out there! I only used 1 stick of butter and it was plenty. About half way thru cooking time I spooned the melted butter all over the chicken. I also used partially frozen chicken breasts (only outside defrosted so that cracker crumbs would stick) and cooking time was perfect. Entire family loved it!

This is the perfect recipe for families. If you're looking for complex flavors, this isn't for you. It's very basic, but very tasty. The chicken is moist and tender and leftovers are great too! This will definitely be put into my rotation! Thank you!

Great recipe- I will definitely make this again! The chicken was so moist and almost flaky! I only baked for about 22 minutes though- 40 would have been way too long. Next time I might add some herbs to the cracker mixture to give it more flavor.

Mediocre recipe. The chicken was tender but it did not have much taste besides that of the butter and buttery crackers. Not a recipe that either my husband or I really wish to keep for later.

A small twist on this recipe that kids will love! Out of crackers one time, so I used crushed cheddar cheese fish crackers with parmesan cheese. The kids named the dish "Fish Chicken."

This was a nice change of pace from the usual breadcrumbs. I actually forgot the garlic but my chicken was pre-marinated in some herbs - so it was still flavourful. It did come out nice and moist. I will make again. Thanks for sharing.

I used half the butter this recipe called for and completely forgot the garlic. Just salt and pepper worked very well. This seems like it will be a good recipe to try with different spices.

delicious, moist chicken. i cut the chicken into quarters instead of halves for smaller portions. we cut pieces of butter to put on the chicken before baking. probably only used about 1/8 cup butter. we baked it for 25min per another reviewer's suggestion.

Our family loves this! My teenage daughter can make it easily on those days when I can't make it home in time to get dinner together. We use a "Ritz" type cracker and cut the chicken breasts into more manageable pieces. It makes it sort of like chicken nuggets without the frying. Yum!

This recipe is very Juicy, Moist, and Easy. I was confused on what buttery crackers to use so I used Club crackers. I'm curious as to what other people used. I took some advice and cooked it for only 30 min and only added 1/3 cup butter. I also added onion powder. I cut my breasts into long stripes. I love the way its moist where the butter is and kind of crunchy on top b/c the cracker crumbs. I will make this for a family get together.
