My husband loves this one. I may try adding a can of diced tomatoes and some chili powder next time. I think the kidney beans made me think chili. A simple-to-make and good-to-eat soup. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

This is quite tasty and it's pretty simple to make (definitely a plus for me!). I made this yesterday, and as with most soups, it's even better the next day. I made a few small changes - I used shallots instead of onion and sauted them before adding all the vegetables, and then added half the water. I also used a bit less total water (4 cups) plus 1 small can of beef broth instead of bouillon. I used herbed tomato sauce instead of tomato soup and I also added some worcestershire and some cilantro (I like cilantro) at the end. A yummy hamburger (but not too chili-like) soup.
