This was absolutely the best chocolate cake batter I have EVER had in my entire life, not overly sweet and it was totally moist. It's sure to sooth the most particular sweet tooth...especially if you're a chocolate lover such as myself. I made a couple minor adjustments. I didn't have milk on hand so I replaced the milk with 2/3 cups of condensed canned milk mixed with 1/3 cup of water. I used a cup of freshly brewed hot coffee to replace the cup of hot boiling water, and I used a chocolate drizzle instead of the frosting in this posting (as my cake was prepared in a round pound cake pan) and finally I sprinkled 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of crushed macadamia nuts on top after the drizzle. OMG, I will make this cake for the rest of my life, and will never use any other chocolate cake recipe EVER!!! It's perfection!! Thanks so much for posting this heavenly treat.
