I'll give this a three, this was a good recipe but it just didn't stand out to me,I only used one cup of the oatmeal,I think 3 would have been too much and I used macadamia nuts also. I don't think I'll be in a hurry to make this one again.

Not the best, IMO. I tried to incorporate the changes people suggested and I think that if a recipe requires so many alterations to make it "good", it probably wasn't a keeper in the first place.

These were delicious! I took a tip from another reviewer and used 2 tbsp less butter, and I also used a cup of raisins instead of nuts. They weren't flat at all, and they weren't overly soft, just nice and chewy, and they stayed that way for a few days.

This is truly an excellent oatmeal cookie. It came out very chewy. My son loves them. I, as suggested by another review, also added an additional 1/8 c flour and did only 1/2 ts salt. I live in the mountains so I had to cook them about 20 minutes.

These were pretty good though I did use yogurt spread instead of butter to reduce the fat. I used 1/4 cup more flour per the advice of another reviewer and they still fell apart. I baked them on my stone for 14 minutes. I'll make them again some time.

This is a fantastic recipe. Everyone who has ever had them raves! I halve the amount of walnuts to 1/2 C and add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and this is what I give out for Christmas cookies. Thanks, Beatrice

Very good. Great with a cup of pecan pieces and some baking raisins. I prefer to use McCann's Irish Oats quick cooking--seems like bigger oats and yummier less mushy cookies.

Yummy! I made these as written except without the nuts. My son is allergic to them. They are quite tasty and the texture is good. I will likely make these again.

Great cookies! I followed the recipe exactly, except didn't add any walnuts because I didn't have any. They baked & stored just the way we like them -- soft inside and just the slightest bit crisp on the outside. Delicious!

These were "okay". Nothing too special. My seven year son goobled them up, but he pretty much will eat any cookie. They baked up a little flat but they were still chewy and tasted okay.

These were very good, but I wouldn't say they are the best. Something lacking to make them stupendous, but they were tasty.

these turned out great and it was my first time making oatmeal cookies. I used raisins instead of walnuts everyone kept coming back for more will make again maybe next time i will use walnuts and raisins. I used walnuts and raisins half and half. and I find it helps if you melt the butter first in the microwave when mixing.
