Original Recipe Yield 3 dozen
 

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

Directions

  1. Soften butter and beat well. Add sugar and mix well. Add cocoa, vanilla and water. Then add oatmeal.
  2. Shape into 36 balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Keep in refrigerator.
