candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)
prepared white frosting, or as needed
red string licorice (such as Twizzlers®), cut into 1-inch pieces
I had trouble with this recipe. First, I couldn't find the string licorice. Next, when I dropped the cookie on the baking sheet the cookie did not spread, it just stayed in a ball. The directions do not say whether frosting is used even though I assume it probably was to adhere the candy corn and other candies to the cookie.
