This was a hit with my family. I did add a can of chopped green chili's and a can of the green enchiladas sauce over the top. And, of course some sour cream!

Like many of the other reviewers, I did not cook this in the microwave. I browned the ground beef on the stove with onion, garlic, and some diced green bell pepper. I also added about half a teaspoon of ground cumin, an extra clove of garlic, and a pinch of cilantro. Once the ground beef was no longer pink, I layered all of the ingredients onto tortillas as directed, and baked in the oven @350 for about 20 mins. This was very tasty and filling, and the leftovers are good warmed up the next day. We topped with sour cream and hot sauce. Update: I have made this with chicken too, and if you add a can of drained diced tomatoes with chilies, as well as follow my adjustments, this is a really good recipe! :)

Followed recipe with the exception of cooking method. I did not use a microwave to cook the ingrediants, but chose to sautee things in a fry pan on the burner. Then I built the stack and baked in a covered dish for 45 minutes at 350. No leftovers!

Very good. When I cooked it, I used the stove top rather than microwaving. I added a pepper, chopped tomatoes and used plenty of cheese.

Very good! My family really enjoyed it. The only thing I had to do different is that I used enchilada sauce instead of tomato sauce because that's what I had on hand. It was easy to make and one I will do again real soon. Thanks for sharing Doreen.

Very good basic recipe. If you like things spicy you can easily spice it up like I did with jalapenos an enchilada sacce etc. Will definitely make this often. Even better leftover

Very fast & easy. I used homemade taco seasoning and lots of cheese. Topped with sour cream, avocado slices and of course salsa.

I used red enchalada sauce and spiced this up a bit more. This is a very tasty basic recipe that can be easily tweaked to your personal tastes. I will continue to be making variations of this recipe. It is really great the next day.

This was really good. Better than I had expected actually. I used Gebhardt Chili powder and I do think the brand and type used will make a difference in the way your filling tastes. I doubled it though since there was only a tiny bit left and I didn't want to put it back on the shelf. I doubled the garlic in the meat too and used dried minced onion and mexican tomato sauce which is seasoned a little. Del Fuerte brand is what we have available here. I used flour tortillas since I don't know how to make corn ones. My filling simmered on the stovetop while I made the tortillas for this. I used an American/Cheddar cheese blend since Cheddar tends to be really greasy when it melts down. Thanks, I will make this again!

Made this recipe tonight, followed to the letter and it was delicious. Next we plan on addding some queso to the layers instead of the grated cheese and piling diced tomatoes on top. Try dipping it in sour cream, tasty addition.
