Some members of my family call it manicotti, some call it Italian casserole. So I call it Manicotti Italian Casserole. This is one of my all time favorite meals to make, and it's super easy!

This is a very filling, easy to make manicotti dish my whole family loves- including my picky 2 year old! Manicotti shells are filled with a beefy stuffing before being slathered with tomato sauce and baked.

Even kids will eat their broccoli when it's served this way. Dress up spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage and garlic, then drizzle it over shells stuffed with broccoli and cheese.

This has all the good stuff - ricotta, mozzarella, eggs and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper and stuff this yummy stuffing into pre-cooked manicotti. Pour on your favorite tomato sauce and bake.

Even kids can help assemble this simplified Italian entree from Suzanne Runtz of Charlestown, South Carolina. She fills each pasta shell with a piece of string cheese for a deliciously gooey center, then tops the manicotti with a beefy tomato sauce.

Cream cheese, plenty of mozzarella and sausage make for a creamy and savory stuffing for the manicotti shells.

My husband says this dish is restaurant quality. It can be made ahead and kept in the refrigerator overnight. Very filling and great served with a salad and garlic bread.

The secret to this marvelous manicotti is in the chill. After stuffing cooked pasta with a tasty blend of spinach, Parmesan, mozzarella and a dash of sugar, arrange tomato sauce and shells in a baking dish and chill overnight. Bake it the next day!
