We loved it and might add a green bell pepper along with the red next time we make it.

Excellent recipe! Easy and delicious. The ONLY thing I'll do different next time is decrease the brown sugar by half.

Very good. Be careful not to over do it on the brown sugar.

Really good recipe. I liked that it wasn't as sweet as the canned mix. My family enjoyed it. I'll definitely make it again.

Very good - nice and thick, although it was a little too sweet for me. Next time I'll reduce sugar to 2 tbs.

These sloppy joes were the best I've ever had!! My mom used to make joes from scratch, but not like this! Of course I love my moms' sloppy joes the most, but Emily's joes were awesome. I'm eating the leftovers as we speak! I have to confess though, I did add a little bit more water and a little bit of ketchup. But other than that, it was great! Sshhhh... Don't tell mom!

Just delicious!!!! I have been looking for a good sloppy joe recipe for a long time. THIS IS IT. I made a substitution because I'm on Weightwatchers. I used 1/2 ground turkey and 1/2 ground sirloin. I also added 1 tsp ground jalapeno pepper and substituted mexican oregano for the greek to give it a more authentic flavor. But even without these changes this is a great recipe!

This is a great tangy/spicy recipe. I found that I had to add an extra 2/3 cup water so it was too thick to simmer for the 10 minutes so the extra water cooked off after the 10 minutes.

The best sloppy joes I've ever made -- although some people in my family would prefer less cumin.

Sloppy Joes are a favorite of my family and they loved this recipe. I served it over french bread. Better than anything in a can. And its so quick.

I thought this recipe was the best I have ever used and so very easy to make. I don't like the canned mix because it is too "sloppy" and this one is just perfect. My family asked for seconds.

These joes were good; not so sickeningly sweet like the canned ones. I added another T of chili powder for a little more kick. Easy, and good!!
