I seasoned the chops(garlic salt & pepper) before browning them in a frying pan with simmering onions. I put the simmered onions in the rice mix and a little shake of worchestershire sauce. It was excellent! This is a definite keeper!

This is a very simple recipe that takes me back to one my mom used to make all the time. It's cheap, tasty, easy, and pretty fast and low maintenance. I just made it and have only tasted it, but I am really thinking my husband will like it. Very easy to add your own touches as well. I added garlic salt, celery salt, and some poultry seasoning, but it would be tasty with almost any spices added to it.

I liked the dish. Easy to prepare. I added a little salt to the chops before browning. Other than that, the dish was excellent. I would recommend this dish to anyone new to cooking. Very good.

Even with a few reviewer suggestions, this did not wow us. It was standard, boring, and predictable. A solid no-fuss weekday meal, but needs work to make it more tasty. I think a dry packet of ranch combined with a potato flake, flour, garlic and onion powder coating before the browning process would add some kick. I also think adding another herb, like fresh rosemary or basil, would really help.

This was a very easy recipe to prepare. I added salt and pepper to the chops as they were browning. It also took 15 minutes longer to bake than the recipe called for.

Very delicious and filling. I added a shake of worchestershire sause to the rice mixture to be sure it had enough flavor. Yum!

This recipe was simply too bland for our tastes. The rice was OK, though I would add more garlic, fresh sliced mushrooms, and cheese. The pork was simply ick. It is a waste of pork when you HAVE to cover it in rice just to eat it. I would instead bread the pork chop with flour, instant potato flakes, and spices, cook the pork and add it to the baking dish about 10 minutes before it should be done. At least then it isnt a waste of the pork. It would be great with chicken chopped up and added to the rice though. Overall, not impressed.

Awesome... simply awesome. Easy to prepare. Family loved it. Not even so much as a grain of rice left over. This recipe is a keeper for sure!

This was a great recipe! I'm a new cook and this was my first time ever cooking pork, but it came out perfectly! My boyfriend is very picky and he liked it as well!
