I really like the "dip", but found I like it more for salad dressing.

Tasted too much like lemon for me. It also didn't help since I used Dipping Sauce for Artichokes and the recipe included lemon juice too.

We eat our artichokes warm so I'm more or less rating the dip. I'd like to give it three, but that might be a tad unfair because the flavors were different and I enjoyed it. That being said the vegetable oil was Horrid. I only used 1/4 cup and left everything else the same, didn't use the green peppers though, and it was Nasty. I didn't want to start over so I tried to absorb the oil off the top. I will certainly make this again, but I will OMIT THE OIL and possibly play with the amount of the other ingredients. I thought the vinegar taste was a bit overpowering, but my vinegar loving husband said that he might like it better with a little more.

Great version of artichokes! I usually eat warm and dip in garlic or lemon butter, but this change was welcome and wonderful. I left the green peppers and green onions out of the dipping sauce as the flavors didn't jive for my family, but all in all, a great way to serve and eat artichokes! Suggestion: cook the artichokes for close to an hour to make them more tender.
