These were good- they had a old-fashioned homemade flavor. I mixed them up in my Kitchenaid. Make sure you use plenty of flour when rolling these.

The taste of these noodles reminded me of the ones my grandmother would make for thanksgiving. I made these for chicken and noodles, and unfortunately I was becoming pinched on time, and didn't allow them to totally dry out. Which then turned into Chicken with a thick broth, with bits of noodles, because they dissolved. I will remember to allow more drying time in the future. Otherwise, a great recipe.

Very good. I didn't worry about letting the noodles dry the second time I made this because they were very hard to get off the surface without destroying them. Be sure to roll them out as thin as possible. I cut them with a pizza cutter. I have also made them with whole wheat flour. I would suggest using 1/3 whole wheat, 2/3 white flour. Then they are hearty, but not too overpowering wheaty.

Quite tasty and easy to make. I made the noodles too big but the right thickness so next time I'll have to cut them thinner. Served with Beef and Vegetable Ragout from Allrecipes and boiled edamame.

I just made a double batch of this, and while it is very good taste wise, the thickness is just too much. I think 1/16in would be much better unless you plan to cook these in a rustic stew, where "heartier" noodles are desirable. Everyday chicken noodle soup will need thinner noodles. But overall, I really like this recipe.

This recipe is a staple in my home. It's so versatile. I add poultry seasoning when making noodles for chicken soup, and add garlic powder & basil when making noodles for use in Italian dishes. And for the occasional kid-friendly treat I divide the dough into 2 to 4 batches, and add a different food color to each batch. Serve cooked noodles with butter -- and watch the children go wild. (Haha. Children are so easy to please.) I can offer some insight to making great noodles: Don't add baking powder, as some folks have suggested, unless you like a really thick (more dumpling style) noodle. Working the dough too much, and not adding butter or oil will result in tough, rubbery noodle. Divide the dough into batches, and roll each batch. This helps in rolling the noodles very thin. The thinner the better (unless you're making chicken & dumplings). Happy cooking!

Very easy noodle recipe - just like mom's! I used this recipe for my chicken noodle soup and turkey noodle soup. These noodles are far superior to any dry pasta you'd find in the store.

These noodles were very tasty and easy to make! I didn't have time to let them dry completely, and they still cooked up well and tasted great! I boiled them in beef broth instead of water; this gave the noodles extra flavor. Thanks for a good any easy recipe!

These were easy and very good! Perfect in my homemade chicken noodle soup. I didn't roll them out quite thin enough so they were thicker noodles than I would have like, but next time I'll know. Thanks for this recipe!

These noodles have a really comforting homemade taste, and they're soooo easy to make. I put them in some chicken soup for my boyfriend when he was sick, and he loved them. Will definitely be using this recipe again!

These were awesome. I made two batches and they turned out great both times. I mixed the dough with the dough hook in my stand mixer and rolled them using a hand crank pasta machine and cut them into fettuccine ribbons. After they were partially dried I cut the ribbons into 2 inch strips for chicken noodle soup.

I really liked these noodles for my chicken noodle soup! I will surely make them again one day. My only problem, I forgot to let them rest and rolled immediately after kneading and they still came out yummy. My whole family loved the soup!
