This soup was very tasty but had a little kick to it. It was plenty salty for my taste. I liked it over all. this soup doesn't look like it would be a soup i would like but i did.

it was really good. we used ground pepper instead of white ground pepper and it still tasted great.

Delicious!!! BUT, this solely depends on how much ground white pepper you use!! I made 4 servings of this, so I quadrupled everything. I only used 1/2 teaspoon white pepper total, which was PLENTY. Next time I will even use less white pepper, but definitely use some bc it gives the soup a great kick. This soup is easy to make too!

I have had to make this twice in the last two days. My family really liked it. I did add a little more soy and sesame oil and used black pepper. The first time I x3 the recipe this time I x5. PERFECT! I always have all the ingrdients on hand which makes it nice.
