This is definitely the easiest and tastiest dinner I make in my crockpot! Everyone who tries it loves it! I always serve over rice (though it's great over egg noodles as well) and make some corn and crescent rolls and you have an wonderful meal!

It was good, but some of the flavor seemed unusual. I think from the onion soup and cream cheese. My husband said it was okay.

The recipe WAS easy, I will give it that -but it was far from delicious. I can't pinpoint exactly what the problem was, but I think it had something to do with the herbs. It was just a strange tasting concoction that (like a previous reviewer said)went straight into the garbage disposal.

I have made something very similar to this before and loved it. I did not add the italian dressing or cream cheese though. Instead, I used chicken gravy mix and flour and about 1/4c. chicken broth. This works great for sandwiches or over mashed potatoes. It was a hit and absolutely no leftovers!

This recipe has scored as my nine year old, gourmand son's favorite dish. It isn't very pretty to look at, but it tastes great!

Very good. Based on other reviews I used only 6 oz cream cheese and used one cup of the dressing/chicken juices instead of broth. I also added fresh green beans and carrots and it came out great.

I had such high hopes for this well rated recipe. As someone else suggested, I substituted Velveeta for the cream cheese, and the results were an unappealing mess. I would have given 0 stars, though the single star is due to the taste of the marinated/cooked chicken before the remaining ingredients ruined the meal. Would make the chicken w/italian dressing, but will never use the entire recipe again.

This was soooo gross! My husband took one bite, my daughter wouldn't even try it. It went down the garbage disposal right from the crock pot, still hot!!! Will not be making this again.

My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid. I loved it then and I still do now! Great recipe - I used it this week to make dinner! I added dry stuffing mix to the leftovers and had a whole new meal the next day!

This is a very well-named dish. It was super easy and super tasty. I didn't have and rice or pasta on hand (day before grocery day) but it was fine on its own. A little too saucy to be served alone though, so I'd recommend rice or maybe egg noodles. One warning: this LOOKED disgusting. I wouldn't serve it to people who doubt your cooking skills or kids who are still in the "it looks funny so I won't eat it" phase. It was delicious however, and I'm definitely making it again, maybe adding some veggies to the pot next time before that final hour of cooking. (Fiancee's idea - he thought celery would be a nice addition.)

I will give this a 5! I used low fat Italian dressing and 99% fat free cream of chicken soup. Sill turned out great! Thank you!

This recipe is wonderful! We make it all the time. We did find that we had to put spices inside the chicken to really get any flavor out of them, though. If you want your chicken to really pop, make sure to get spices or stuffing inside, and under the skin!

I love this! I used only half of the cream cheese and it was still creamy (but not so rich). We love it over pasta!

Quite tasty! A bit too much cream cheese I think though. Next time I think I will only use 3/4 of the block of cheese and I will try to use the dressing and juices instead of the broth. A good one to put into our regular meal rotation!

I loved the taste of the chicken and sauce. I used chicken thighs instead of breasts and deboned them after the initial 6-8 hours in the crock pot. My son (2) and I loved it, but my husband and daughter (6) didn't. It was the cream cheese that turned them off-but that's what I thought made it so creamy and rich! I served it over wheat spaghetti and really enjoyed it-Thanks!

My family loved this. The chicken was SO tender. I cut up 1 sweet onion and cooked it with the chicken & italian dressing. I only removed 3/4 of the dressing once the chicken was done cooking. I served it with home made mashed potatoes & green beans. My 2 year old who doesn't like much of anything ate it right up. To be so good, it was so easy to make. It will be a regular in our home for sure. THANKS!
