This was fabulous!! I used olive oil and a little butter to saute onions and 2 garlic cloves. I also added about 8-10 leaves of chopped fresh basil. To die for....

Very easy. i added spices (oregano, basil, parsley, salt and pepper) along with putting some galic in with the onion. Have added shrimp, chicken and clams, all with great results. Freezes well. Half and half will also substitute for the cream, in a pinch. Also used olive oil, not butter. Make sure to have some good bread to sop up the sauce with!

this vodka sauce is exceptionally easy and absolutely delicious. You can add salmon or sauteed chicken and both are wonderful with bowtie pasta, a nice salad and french bread and of course your favorite red wine.

This is a wonderful recipe. I have made several times. I make a few small changes... I saute onions and garlic in olive oil instead of butter and I also add salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, and basil after adding the crushed tomatoes, which give a wonderful flavor. Last night I used this sauce over stuffed cabbage and it was delicious.

This was a great sauce and easy to make. I added dried oregano, dried basil, cayenne, and a dash of sugar while cooking. My husband liked it, and he hates onions!

Sorry, the only reason that I gave this a 1 star is because 0 was unavailable. Guess this sauce just isn't the kind that I am used to.

Yum yum yum yum yum. When I first heard about this I thought it sounded terrible. But, it combines the tomatoes that my hubby likes and the cream that I like.

This sauce was fabulous and so easy. It's just as good as the more complicated sauces. I had raves from family and friends and had to share the recipe.

This recipe is excellent, and very easy to make! I didn't have any regular vodka, so I used Inferno spicy vodka and it added a nice bit of heat to the sauce. Served with homemade ravioli stuffed with squash and roasted garlic.

I also took the advice of other reviewers and used 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2tsp sugar, and fresh chopped basil. I also by mistake bought only 1/2 pint of cream, and it was just fine. At the end I sprinked on some fresh chopped parsley over the raviolis and sauce.
