First of all, with that many noodles I had to add 3 cans of tuna (even coulda' used 4). Also, this recipe was missing the salt and pepper it soooo desperately needed.

If I had eaten this alone, I would have only given it 2 stars, but my husband kinda liked it, so I'll give it 3. This is pretty bland, even after I added spices to it. It's pretty similar to Tuna Helper, but it's more work and not as good. I doubt I'll make this again.

I appreciate the variations on the recipe by those that have been there, done that, and tested on their families. Personally I made the recipe exactly as written and found it to be good but a bit bland. I will make again and try some of the alterations, it is a great starting point thou.

This is a tough one for me. My kids devoured this! They LOVED it. My husband thought it was really good. I personally would have given it 3*'s. It was a bit bland for my liking and a bit dry. I will try it again though and maybe use 2 cans of soup. The onions really make the dish though!

This was good. As others suggested, I added another can of tuna, and mushroom soup instead of chicken. I also added milk, but will omit that next time, it was too liquidy. I also added salt and pepper before baking for extra flavor. Delicious!

So easy, even I could make it. I didn't have all the ingredients on hand - had to use cream of mushroom soup - and unfortunately had to forgo the french onions. It was still yummy. FYI - Had to look up uncooked to cooked noodle conversion - used 3/4 cup of uncooked to get 3 cups cooked. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Very good. Husband was skeptical about tuna casserole. I added the milk and peas as suggested in other reviews. He enjoyed it, but the the french onions he could have did with out. It was just fine for me. Thanks for a quick and delicious recipe and an alternative to cream of mushroom soup!!!

The fam LOVED this one. I am not giving it a 5 because I altered the recipe. My changes: 2-1/2 cups cheddar, 3/4 cup frozen peas, 3/4 cup frozen corn, 1 can condensed cream of chicken, 1 can condensed cream of celery, 1-1/2 Tbl minced garlic and 2 cups potato chips. Also used celery salt, garlic powder and pepper to taste. I don't eat seafood but the rest do. My daughter said this was her FAVORITE casserole (WOW!). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction since I didn't know much about how to prepare this (since I don't eat seafood). Will keep this one as a frequent flyer.

My Husband and I liked this very much. I thought it was quick and easy to prepare. We love cheese so that was a big plus for us. Next time I might add a small can of Leseur peas.

This recipe didn't turn out well for me. When I put everything in the casserole dish it didn't look right to me but I went with it. I was right because as it started to cook there wasn't enough liquid to even cook the pasta so I had to add milk and hot water to get the moisture in there. I also added some seasonings to give it more flavor.

The recipe definately needs milk or 1/2 and 1/2 or it will turn out dry. I added about 1 cup of 1/2 and 1/2, 2 tsp minced garlic, salt and pepper and topped with parmesan cheese. Cooked covered for 35 min. It was perfect! Thanks for the recipe.

I thought this recipe was great for ease and flavor - did not have too much of a "fishy" taste....plus I had all the ingredients on hand. Will make again!

i try not to change much in recipes without trying them first. i made this as stated, and i wish i would have altered it a lot. my family and i thought it was dry and bland. now i can see why so many people changed this up so much. its an ok start to an easy tuna casserole, so i might read through the reviews and try again. oh and if you make this as stated use an 8x8 or smaller casserole dish because a 9x13 is way too big. it barely covered the bottom, so i had to dirty up another dish.
