Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 (28 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 pound salami, cut into strips
  • 2 1/2 cups rotini pasta

Directions

  1. In a heavy pot over medium heat cook crumbled sausage and onions and drain well.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, broth, water, and salami, heat to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Add rotini, and simmer 15 minutes more or until pasta is done.
