This is good. Next time I make this I will punch up the spices with some salt and pepper a bit and maybe let it marinate in the rub so some of the sweetness can soak into the meat. Overall, very moist and good.

Sorry. Didn't like. Way to dry and flavorless. I think I am giving up on Pork Loin.

wow!! Sometimes it amazes me how the simplist dishes can be the best!! I doubled the recipe because I had a 4lb roast. The only change that I made was to put this in the slow cooker for about 5 hours on high. The "gravy" was thin but I really enjoyed the consistency over egg noodles. It was a hit here at our home!!!

Good flavor, but it would be nice to play around with some ways to counterbalance the incredible sweetness. My kids ate it, and we all enjoyed it, but I think next time I'll do a little more experimenting with this as a base recipe (as it was I rubbed in salt, pepper & garlic powder & browned the meat before roasting, but it still felt a little one-note to me).

Not a hit at our house, I'm not sure if it's supposed to or if I done something wrong but the meat was sweet, too sweet. I followed the recipe to the letter, but is not for our taste. I plan to pull the rest of the leftovers apart shred it up and make bbq sandwiches so the roast won't go to waste.

This was truly delicious- EASY and successful. I didn't have an oven bag an simply used tin foil...perfect, moist and really flavorful pork loin. The leftovers made fantastic sandwiches- just as good as the first time around.

This was wonderful! Quick to prepare, and the meat was tender enough to cut with a fork. I used unsweetened applesauce, and added cinnamon. I also only used about half the sugar. I had a 1 1/2 lb loin and it took 1 1/4 hours. I didn't have an oven bag, so I wrapped it in foil for the first hour and cooked it another 15 minutes with the foil open. I will definitely be making this again.

The roast was a hit with my family! It just took longer because I had my oven rack on a lower position. The sauce was yummy! Will make again!

Excellent! I think I cooked mine too long, as my loin was on the smallish side. My sauce was a bit too thick but this was definitely a crowd pleaser. I think I will add a bit more brown sugar next time, mine was not as sweet as we would have liked, but so tender!!!!

Yumm! I followed the directions using the oven bag, but seared the roast (as several reviewers suggested) prior to putting into bag. I found it took about 1-1/4 hours for a 2 pound roast. Makes a delicious sauce for the pork. Very easy but impressive for dinner guests.

Made in crockpot as this was a busy day. (On high, set for 6 hours and then it automatically goes to low). I am a big fan of the oven bags though, this would be great that way I am sure. House smelled so good when I came in! The cinnamon applesauce I used was sweetened with Splenda, and I didn't pack the brown sugar because, um, we are supposed to be watching that. This just sounded so good though! I used a 2 lb pork tenderloin, did not brown first (I never do) and served with rice, green beans, and the cinnamon applesauce also as a side. Ginger as listed. I poured off the crockpot juices into a saucepan and thickened with cornstarch mixed in with about 1/3 cup water, brought to boil to thicken it. Served the sauce over the pork and also the rice. Very good. Hubby gave 4-1/2 stars, I'd say 4 if this were any sweeter as written. Will make again and I'm giving the recipe to my young adult kids- easy, cheap especially when the meat is on sale, and tastes great.
